Charles Eames is one of my favorite industrial designers. His lounge chair and ottoman is one of the most iconic pieces of furniture to come out of the mid-century.
Here is an interesting video on Eames told by Marilyn Neuhart, author of “The Story of Eames Furniture“, and her husband John. Both have worked with the Eames Office in various capacities from the 1950s.
I have implemented the “In Stereo” design piece to album artwork that I have worked on for artists, it is a nod to the vintage record cover design — interesting to see the label in many formats stacked together…
